Karma Class for Loretta

Yoga inspires connection. Join us in this Karma Yoga Class to practice with a collective intention to share peace, love and humanity. We will move through a empowering practice of movement and a sweet practice of meditation.  This practice will always be open to all levels + ages, especially those with desires to serve.

ABOUT THIS CLASS + WHO YOU ARE SUPPORTING:

The donations will help support the family with regular visits to Sick Kids in Toronto where Loretta is currently admitted. The parents, Andrew Hillier and Victoria Gilholm are by Loretta’s side with their positive disposition and love.

Loretta was born on September 27, 2018 and became jaundice. She was admitted to Kingston General Hospital after blood work and an evaluation by doctors. Since, Loretta has been in and out of KGH and referred to Sick Kids in Toronto for extensive testing including work up for a liver transplant. Loretta is also diagnosed with Gaucher Disease 2 and 3, and will have ongoing visits with specialists.

Meet Jaime Wood

“I am hugely passionate about the transformational benefits of yoga and meditation and the power they have to help us see what we truly are; works in progress. I teach yoga from the heart, with the sole aim of encouraging others to love themselves and the world a little bit more each day. My classes are for everyone, designed to build strength and encourage stillness of mind and an open heart through mindful breath led movement. Sequences are nourishing, strong, dynamic and fun and intended to energize and inspire individuals to embrace their vast potential on and off the mat. I’m a great lover of restorative, yin + yoga nidra meditation and like to incorporate this into most classes. In a culture obsessed with ‘doing’, these supported postures serve as the perfect antidote and offer untold benefits to the entire being.”

thanks for inviting + sharing....
