About the Session
Now is the time to start meditating. Over 6 weeks, we will explore the fundamentals of setting up a daily sitting practice, discuss the many benefits you will see unfold in your life (both physically and mentally), and unravel the ancient wisdom that accompanies this life changing practice. You will learn to meditate with ease and power and dive into the origins of mantra.
Meditation allows us to separate from the chaos of our daily lives and find our way back home into our bodies and into the present moment, cultivating a deeper sense of calm, peacefulness and joy.
Each week of the series, we will focus on a different type of meditation practice, discussing its origins, the specific and unique benefits that this practice offers, and after moving our bodies through some gentle asanas in preparation for quiet sitting, we will sit in the experience of meditation.
