Are you ready to elevate your yoga? Always dreamed of flying? Want to learn how to trust and feel supported? Curious about the healing and therapeutic benefits of suspending? Then the Samatva Suspension Yoga™ Immersion is for you!

Perfect for beginners and floor based yogis alike. This workshop, the pre-requisite to attend drop-in schedule Suspension classes, introduces safe and effective use of the Suspension Yoga™ Sling. Participants will discover how inversions and aerial movements decompress the spine, strengthen the core and achieve deep delicious stretches formerly only dreamed of. We’ll cover all the key foundational techniques to enable you to feel comfortable, confident and at home in your Suspension Yoga™ Sling! Exploring partial + full intro-inversions, learning fluid sequences, moving with breath and your floating savasana cocoon to finish…Expect to feel relaxed, lengthened and strengthened as you learn to fly and decompress the spine!

With the support of the Suspension Yoga™ Sling you will also be able to enter more advanced yoga poses that you may have never been able to arrive at before…safely. After 2 hours you will leave feeling invigorated, inspired, relaxed and yes, even a little bit taller!

Following the completion of the Suspension Yoga™ Immersion, participants can attend all drop-in styles. Please scroll down for additional info.

Without the amazing crew of teachers and staff, Samatva Yoga would never be what is has grown into today. So many teachers have been with us throughout the years. Gill, Kelly & Maggie are amongst original studio staff, now teaching at Samatva for almost 10 years. In addition, thanks to Brendine, Frederique, Andrea (Piper), Justine for over five years of dedicated sharing to Samatva’s Community.

I did my 200 hr teacher training with Don & Amba Stapleton, Yoga for Childbirth with Dorothy Guerra, as well as some amazing workshops and courses with Amy Ippoliti, Natasha Rizopoulos, Maria Garre, Seane Corn, Michelle Cormack, Paul Grilley and Michael Stone. I practice to create space both inside of my physical body as well as my mind. I practice to bring more awareness, connection and clarity into every thing that comes to me. I practice because no matter what state I’m in when I arrive on my mat, I always leave feeling so good, so alive.
